Rieks van Klinken is a senior research scientist at CSIRO with 20 years of experience in biosecurity. He led the PBCRC Early Warning Program from 2012. In 2016-7 he spent one year as an AVID volunteer working as a Plant Protection Advisor in Bhutan, which included helping to develop a national plant pest database and the Pests of Bhutan website.
