Originally from New Zealand, Rohan obtained his PhD in Marine Biology from James Cook University, Queensland, and subsequently completed postdocs in the USA, Canada, and Australia. He is currently a Research Scientist at the Australian Institute of Marine Science. He is interested in understanding how fishes and other aquatic animals interact with reef environments and how behavioural processes can be harnessed to enhance reef resilience.
